Laurent Shen is a French photographer and Senior Visualisation Artist based in London.

​

He studied Art and Computer Graphics before meeting architecture in 2011. Today, he works in one of the most prestigious architectural practices in the world, Foster + Partners. He is a PARTNER and Head of Animation/Stills in the Visualisation team. Notable clients include Apple, NASA, McLaren, Hankook, Virgin, Hyperloop, Nissan, Cartier, Real Madrid CF, PGA, etc.

At the same time, Laurent continues to develop his photography talents, which he considers an essential skill set parallel to his visualisation work. He regularly devotes time to taking photographs of people, landscapes, and renowned architecture worldwide.

Laurent has worked on animated films such as the Oscar-nominated short movie “French Roast” (2008) and Sony commercials. He also has ample experience as a retouch artist for fashion photography.

Aside from his passion for the arts, Laurent is an avid martial artist. He is a former national Kung Fu champion and member of the French national team.
